Please note that I have no spaces at the moment and it is unlikely that I will be able to take on new clients until after Easter.
Are you feeling low and lacking in motivation? Do you suffer from anxiety, depression or low self-esteem? Maybe you’re struggling with an eating disorder or an addiction or some other behaviour pattern you feel powerless to break free from.
Why consider counselling?
You don’t always need a professional to help you through the problems life throws at you. A lot of the time you can overcome difficulties using your own resources, especially if you have the support of family and friends. It is not always easy to find the right kind of support in the people around you though – friends may have their own problems to deal with and are not able to be there for you right now; or maybe they just don’t know how best to help you. Sometimes it just doesn’t help to hear someone else’s advice; you just need space to work out the best way forward for you.
A qualified and experienced counsellor is equipped to help you in a different way, by offering you a safe, confidential and non-judgmental, unbiased space to work through your difficulties and find new ways of relating to yourself, others and the world.
Whether your problems stem from childhood and feel very entrenched, or whether you just need some support to get through a difficult time, I can help. [Read more.]
